A basic 3-LED cordless worklight from Ozito.
The strip down was simple enough, but I still haven't managed to put the thing back together again.

Ozito is an Australian brand sold at Bunnings, it's actually made by Germans however, like it's a subsidiary brand made by Germans I think, so it's goal is the lowest price, but still a legitimate power tool. Meaning it's the cheapest actual branded form of power tool, you can expect enough quality that it actually does work and is designed properly, so it isn't the same as buying some literal thing from Kmart that is true trash and designed by some troll in China.

Cheap tools expensive batteries some very expensive . I bought the 18v chop saw made an adaptor and run it off Makita .they are shockingly shit tools though but for ยฃ32 at homebase I can live with that

Ozito is sold in Australia as a DIY product and is not aimed at the tradesman market. Having said that they are now well regarded and sold exclusively through Bunnings hardware stores around the country.
They have a large range of good quality products and come with a 5 year replacement warranty.
No, I donโ€™t work for Ozito. FIY Ozito stands for Ozzie Tools.

The reason there is a diode bridge there:

    1) This is an existing shelf product (reduced development costs) = a prepared circuit, not specifically designed for this product.

    2) may allow compatibility with additional batteries (existing or future or from a different manufacturer) where the polarity may be reversed.

Warm greetings to our dear man!

It seems that these are three 1W LED's, I saw on the package light output: 270 lumens that would be around 90 lumens per LED, about right number for cheap LED's
