I can't stop playing with the u-blox Neo-7M GPS module and u-center application because it's all too much fun.

constantly changing hence correction data. good reporting. and instead of putting this thing on your window cill, just change the degree of view for demonstration's sake

Can I use U-Center to enable NEO-8M Galileo navigation system? Any tips on how to do so? I understand Galileo is not enabled by default.

Hey thank you for showing your review on U-Centre. I have just got into using it and came across your upload.

Wanted to ask you a question. If you use a gps module with 32 channels for 2 satellite systems ie, gps & glonas and then select just gps on its own would that populate more satellites for gps connections or would it just stay the same amount of satellites detected in dual gps & glonas mode?

    Thank you

They're not GPS satellites. They're Darth Vader's tie fighter.

I got a strange problem……! I am working on ublox neo 6m module with built-in micro usb port and UART. I programmed my gps via UART using FTDI converter and save all configuration on EEPROM+FLASH using u-center 18.11. I closed u-center and reopen it. It was working fine. Everything was fine but as I unplug my FTDI converter to turn off GPS module and replug it to Turn on GPS module, it didn't work.(Some buddies will say that I didn't write EEPROM but EEPROM was selected). The strange thing happened when I plug my micro usb on GPS module.. I started working.!
    I have got these confusions
    1. GPS Module is working on all baud rates via micro usb port.(No UART)
    2. GPS module is not working via UART after configuration changed.(No USB)
    3. GPS module is transmitting data via UART(TX) while powered from micro usb port after configuration changed.(UART_TX and USB_Power)
If someone know whats wrong then please let me know. You can also email me on hsmalik96@@t
