Hi Julian. Can you help? Mine has blown the zener V1 on the charge circuit. Can you please measure what this voltage is? I measured V2 as 15V but V1 must be different.

could you maybe do a video on the CMP12, just wondering how reliable and accurate it is

Watched your solar charger videos a lot, thought i'd order one, realized you don't sell them anymore, Google cheap solar charger, found CMP12 on ebay, Search youtube for CMP12 and find your video. 🙂 all roads lead to Julians videos.

i can really suggest you using u8glib or ucglib for displays. love these librarys and they worked for most of the screens i got on ebay ^^

Your CMP 12 says "CMP-12 v9.0" on the blue circuit board between the heat sink and input output screws. The CMP-12 in the photo on that ebay page with the yellow component inside was "CMP-12 Rev1". The difference was the circuit board version. You can find REV 1 at the ebay store of "brucelee0908"

I was wondering what your opinion of the CMP12 was – it's been a while and I wondered if you had a favorite?

hi i have a close cmp12 to yours it just seems to have a poly fuse in stead of a car fuse on my cmp12 the mosfets  are all cmp3205 . when hooked up my solar panels at 24 v for the first time  it realest the magic smoke i tested it the other day the center mosfet seems blown dot know the best way to test it but its has different residents than the other mosfets in circuit im going to replace the with IRF3205 mosfets i hope this will work ps i think i hooked up the solar panels then the battery

I'm into quads and have of bag of those voltage/current sensors. As always, very informative, Julian. Thanks

I've been pondering getting 100 x 100 watt cob led modules, mounting them to a heatsink in a 10 x 10 grid, to make a 10,000 watt led lamp 😀 Would be fun to focus all that light down to a point, and I feel like I would need water cooling at that rate XD

Hi Julian, maybe an idea, not really related to this video, is to make a simple website with links to youtube and an overview of what is in them.  I find it harder and harder to find stuff which I have already seen but want to see again.
I know in the beginning it might be a bit of work but in the end it might be easier for you too.
