4 is the minimum with one watt LEDs…if you have 3 watt ones then you can run 2 with it ..that's 6 watts capability and you'll be running them hard but it's fine nonetheless n within driver specs…however 2, 1 watt LEDs will go poof…so a minimum of 4 is required to meet the spec of the driver instead of the driver meeting the spec of the LED with the 3 watt example…
Thanks so much Julian. Watching your daily post bags saved me from squandering my life's saving and still enjoying the thrills of these frugal delights. I am a lot more selective in buying these electronic junks and so far I have done quite well. May be I should loosen my purse string a bit seeing so much fun you are having. And yes, be very careful about cutting out your address. We know where these treasures are kept.
Just like I have been opening my own post bags. That battery looks like it is reclaimed from a dead laptop battery, I reclaim myself and they look exactly like that. Probably used battery that's why they are so cheap.
So I just found your youtube and I have to say I am just nerding out watching and loving all these videos I have a question for you I make box "mods" which are essentially a power pack with a switch to power an electronic cigarette I use 18650 imr high drain batteries I am dabbling in adding things such as volt meters, mosfets, and thinking about trying out that charging chip with the micro usb you made a video about My question is is their anything else I might try out in a power supply
I think those led drivers are made to put in car because of those pins are used in car light bulbs!

I learned a lot from you.
Ended up making a Bluetooth speaker. 15×2 Watt + 30 Watt Sub-woofer.
I do need help on Buck\Boost converter. It gets quite a lot hot.
Do you already know what is the real battery capacity?
