In today's postbag:
NOTE: The monochrome LCD turned out to be incorrectly described on DX.com. It's actually a Nokia 5110 84x48 pixel type (I've connected it up and tested it). I've removed the link to this item as I can't recommend it at this price. Looks like I've been well and truly done up like a kipper!

hi julian, i love your vids! can look for hours at them. hint: maybe you havenยดt found a function of the BST400 converter (and even others). you always switch the display from amps to volts by hand. if you push and hold the start button for more than 3 seconds…….. the dsiplay will switch automatically from amps to volts periodically. regs from germany roger

Those JST connectors are metric, so the XH is 2.5mm not 0.1 inch.

I see you have experience with those LED-fillamets. I ordered some of such LED-fillamets, but I'm not happy with them. Your LEDs seams bendable. Mine are not. there is a thin piece of glass on which are the LEDs and therefore the will break if you bend it. So now I have the Problem, that i have ordered all stuff for my Project, but without bendable LED-fillament it will be failure.

Do you have any advice to me? Where i could get bendable ones? I hope you or anybody else could help me. thanks

the reason the pixels even with how fine they would be is the TFT part in the description, TFT stands for "Thin Film Transistor."

8s is 8 batteris in series. You need to know that the s# is series and a P# is parallel ie S3P4 would be a total of 12 batteries 3 rows wired series of 4 row wired in parallel.

Noob here, but could I light the filament with some sort of battery? How about a molex connector from a PC power supply?

Thanks to you, I got myself a TN12 torch, and I absolutely love it. It's part of my EDC now, along with a small Veleno Designs Quantum D2 on my keyring. I was really surprised by how bright that TN12 gets.

I enjoy your posts a lot. by coincidence, we seem to buy a lot of the same modules on ebay. It's like an addictive habit for me.
