more tm1638 board videos would be interesting…I bought one just to get the components off of but getting it to do stuff would be neat

I need to dive into the world of ESP8266's some day. Lots of ideas and projects are ahead.

have 5 of these esp8266's and I can't get any of them to work. ย I've tried every hookup schematic on the web and nothing…they are useless junk.

Hi,Love your videos and your awesome tutorials.
However is there a way for a random user to change the SSID and password without having to program the ESP8266 itself.
    Keep posting awesome videos.

worst modules possible! i bought 2 ESP-01 modules from banggood and both of them have IoT firmware on them and I cannot reflash them with other firmare that accepts AT commands… I've tried every tutorial possible, I've connected the modules to arduino, prolific programer and also to a CP2102 usb-ttl converter and it's not working at all… When I power up the module it shows the version which is 0.9.2.4 and "ready" message and that's all… It doesn't connect to any flasher I've found on internet even the baud is correct (9600) and also the COM setting is ok… The module is proper connected, using 3.3V for power and for RX I'm using a voltage divider made out of a 47k and a 100k resistors…I connected the CP_… pin to 5v..GPIO0 to gnd…I spent 6-7$ for nothing… ๏ปฟ

Some clever person put a Minecraft Server on that thing, and it worked.

The baord you show, have one 8051 right dow of th eESP8266 board, this 8051 is the one that connects to you, not the ESP8266

Loving the ESP8266 modules! I've got mine logging temperatures to Sparkfun's data hosting service then a webpage on my web space turns that data into a google chart. So sweet!
I am also looking forward to fiddling with the built in IOs!!
