Try building a quick juelthief circuit for that solar charger and see how that works, I have seen others do this online, and that seems to work OK once wired in the circuit.
where i can get the power bank ?
I've got 2 of those little cameras, they work fine. But they shut down if there's no motion, then start another file when they see something.
Julian, what would you recommend buying to play a bit with 'solar'? Maybe for powering an arduino in a shed etc?
I was wondering. As you placed the batteries in the case with the other 2, did you check the voltage before you did? Or are these cells not in parallel? If the old cells were 4.2 V and the new ones 3.6 Volts, there would be quite some current running. Or not?
If the keyfob is velcroed to the bottom of thecopter like you showed, isn't the image going to be upside down?
Thanks for sharing !
I always considered the protective case's purpose is not to protect the batteries but other things from the batteries. Like an aeroplane or someone's house/car for example. To be more specific, I think these boxes are meant to prevent objects causing a short circuit and setting the battery and whatever is nearby on fire.
I've got an almost identical solar panel but without the USB connector which I purchased for some experimentation. I also read that warning about being unable to charge phones but I'm wondering if there's a way of stabilising the power with a combination of capacitors in order to make it work. I haven't got a solution so if you can think of one do mention it in a video.
