I too keep a lot of parts in small plastic bags, but I buy ones that come with what the bag suppliers refer to as a "hang hole", and then I put them on rings, which keeps them in order and minimizes the amount of time that I need to spend searching for a given part.

Where would one obtain the full schematics or even the complete article for it? Do EPE still provide them?

I 'ate matrix board… gimmie a bit o' veroboard any day.

Do you still get polystyrene capacitors any more? I haven't seen one for decades.

    Will there be future updates?
I died a little every time when I came to see if there were new updates but found only postbag updates or other project.

Love your stuff and what are you doing. I hope that there will be some more updates about this project. 🙂

Great build of a piece of kit I've thought of building several times in the past. Thanks Julian.

I'm not sure but will you also need some decoupling caps on your power rails on each active board? I don't see any sign of the rails on the schematic. I may have missed them in the video.
    Just a thought.

Love this video. Can't wait to see you finish your project! Very impressive job so far!

good practice is to cut leads off before soldering. bend leads at 45 degree angle at base if you need them to stay in after you cut them… this is so that the cut edge of the lead is coated with solder when you are all done, preventing oxidation and enhances the lifetime of the circuit.

anyone else get a giggle when he says to bend them over (resistors)? 😂
