LOL! did you invent the one-handed wire/solder hold?
use a head mounted gopro to record the 1st person view ? wont it be easier
Only some wires outside but a slowly growing mess already.
Great video!
radar driven garden lights ? ok …..
Microwave motion sensors are sensitive to the movement of anything containing water, such as us humans. They also react to plants moving and I see you have a couple near your sensor. With movement from the wind they may trigger your sensor a lot.
Have you washed your hands today, Julian? 🙂
Worst wiring job I have ever seen
Stay safe everyone and don't do what Boris Johnson did and go around shaking hands with people. He's got the virus 👍😅
It's too early for April 1st. Lose those scotch locks…….please!
Maybe coat the electronics in some lacquer spray or to prevent corrosion. The humidity will destroy those electronics over time! At least here in AUS it does!
quick tip. when sucking solder from unpopulated holes: hold the board vertical and put the iron & sucker on opposite sides of the board.
PIR works better if you have people moving behind glass that you want to ignore. Very little glass passes the IR so a "clear" piece of glass is just so much blank wall to most PIR sensors.
The fruit bats down here are so big they set the lights off when they come down to steal fruit from our trees. lol
Given this is a "RADAR" sensor, does it work through a plastic project box?
Might look neater than a circuit board hanging.
