Experimental real time build of a walkie talkie kit which came from Banggood. In this part I solder in two resistors!

link for Component Tester please…
hello, can you send me the schematic ?
great video Julian, I watched all parts end to end 🙂 I made me want to buy the same kit, which I may do sometime 🙂
Great start Julian.
Why don't you bend the legs to each side after you have mounted the component, that way it can't fall out while you solder. No need to use the blue tacky stuff or making the legs springy.
Why?
The kit builds are brilliant. And the single take, unedited was also nice this once. It was good to see the same small slice of chaos on the workbench of someone who does this more than I do. However, I will be happy with a nicely edited version next time, with the transitions and pauses edited out. 🙂
What soldering iron do you use?
Hi Julian,Have you and your wife a lovely Christmas and a good new year!jim.
merry xmas !
A video series? 😉 what a good idea. BTW, Merry Christmas to you and yours and thank you for all the videos you've posted in 2015. Hope you have a great 2016.
The sticker thing bothers me.
8 new vids 😀
Something I do when I build kits, or Lego for that matter is 'Knurling', I lay out all the components / parts so I can quickly identify them, makes it's less frustrating when you're looking for a small component or part.
Will enjoy watching this video serie in the christmas vacation !
Just as well you're not working for Santa, there would be no presents for the kiddies.
