An experimental video where I build an electronic walkie talkie kit in real time and rabbit on about my background in electronics.

How do you know what the value is on the bands of the resistors like green blue yellow is 560k how do you know that
Also I do not have that thingy that burns the resistor is that’s a problem?
Good night, I really liked your channel and I even subscribed. I am Brazilian, I am 8 years old, my father works with electronics and I ask you to please send me the list of components so that my father tries to make one for me from scrap metal. If he succeeded I will post a video on my channel and say that I got the tips from his channel, will it help me?
Hello, I am a first-year student in electrical engineering and I'm supposed to write a paper about walkie talkies. Problem is that as a first-year, I basicly know resistor and capacitors, coils and that's about it. Could anyone explain to me what an inductor does in a walkie talkie?
I got my practical start in electronics with a Philip Electronic Engineer kit – got the basic kit for Christmas and was desperate for my 10th birthday to come around a month later when I hoped I would get the add-on kit (which I did!). The following year's birthday was an Avometer.
I wonder how many budding electronics engineers got a boost from fiddling with those spring clips and perforated board (and the sick feeling in the pit of the stomach when one careless bend too many separated a spidery leg from an AC126 transistor!)?
Agreed; it's a good idea with these kit builds. I enjoy watching it. Personally I like the unedited version. 🙂
unfortunately your link to the kit is dead, so soon. would love to build 2 with my grandson but cannot find the kit on bang-good.
am I the only one who fits all similar components in one go and then solder them ?
as a kid I had an electronics kit and looked like an attaché case with springs that allowed you to connect the components together loved it!
merry Xmas bud!
New drinking game; have a drink every time the blu-tack comes out!
i have a bag of 5 band resistors
Hi Julian,
It seems those video series are are not so informative and can have negative influence to your channel, please take into account this 🙂 thanks.
I think they have them "polarised" to match a certain pattern on the PCB how the components are layed out, so they do not short circuit each other easily.
