Where did you get that PDF? I've looked all over the internet (at least in the US) and haven't found anything.

Hi Julian.  I'm so impressed by your video of the reconstruction of the Tele Tennis game that I designed back in the 1970s.  I'm now aged 80 and naturally feel embarrassed by the naivety of the analogue system compared with what microprocessors can do these days.  Thanks so much for remembering what I was able to do in those days – Mike Hughes

As the site mentioned here, does not appear to be working, does anyone have the parts list and the diagrams, to create this project?

    Thank you

This is so fascinating, so is this how pong was actually made? Like no coding, just analogue stuff like this?

I adore the artifacts as well, they are nearly impossible to make even when trying after all! Excellent monitor by the way.

Ah brings back memories. I remember when that PW came out. Exciting times! I was much too young to be able to afford to build any of the circuit. It actually was preceded by a similar project in Practical Television. I wonder how many were actually made by readers of PW? We will never know! Some time later I did actually build a TV ping-pong kit which was advertised in the electronic magazines of the time. It was unusual in that it was made from CMOS 4000 series ICs. I also breadboarded a video generator using TTL ICs using a monochrome TV as the monitor. I didn't have a crystal so I used a 7414 as the oscillator. I still have it. Perhaps it is time to resurrect it and make a YouTube video 🙂
