Got this question here, by utilizing the pwm pin to control the brightness of the LEDs, does it induce flickering to the output caused by the pwm itself? like I want to control the brightness using an MCU with pwm.

Hi I am looking for a led driver for my 12v 50w led chip for a motorcycle headlight project any recommendations please.?

is it auto volt ( led driver)

Hey Julian, do you happen to know how I can dim the LEDs with this board via pwm? Can I use a normal pwm motor controller for this? Thank you 🙂

    Is SSC/SC (Seoul Semiconductor) 6200 = LM3171 a possibility? Don't see a datasheet, but I think I see some cross references… (yes I know, I'm a bit late to the party…)
On the other hand, the board looks very much like a XL4001E board.
Just browsing your older vids. 😄

I looked all over the icstation site and I never found this module. I found it on ebay though.

  7. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Stanimir Rankovski says:

After connecting 1-4 LEDs they start running warmer and warmer until the they "switch" down or something and they got dimmer around half as bright and no longer run hot. It doesnt matter if its 1 or 4.

  8. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Emerson Moretto says:

To PWM works with arduino it must to be connected with PINS 4 OR 13 because they are 980 Hz. Others pwm pins are 490 Hz and doesn't work. And it is logic inverted

  9. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Allied Techno Medical Equipment and Control System says:

Search for ADT6200 chip, you will find it's data sheet. But remember chip is not reliable for long term use.

please tell me how to do reverse the pwm signal i have controller that do 0-5v pwm signal but its 0 volt is 0 brightness and 5v is 100% bright so how i can make it work in this driver i wanna to change 0v to
5v or how i can do it plz

Very detailed , but missing the crucial point : how do i connect inline pwm dimmer , which have only two outputs , into this driver?

  12. Avataaar/Circle Created with python_avatars Dark Anthem says:

I have bought a few drivers that look identical to these. All of them 350mA & 700mA, use XL SEMI XL4001 chips, I'm guessing these are just a copy.
