Two cheap 18650 mobile power banks reviewed. I'd already decided which one I liked best before filming the review, but changed my mind as testing progressed.

Very nikce and detailed video! Is it possible to rework it to sequential-connected power bank with the 12v output?
I think it would be very good idea to have a power bank as USB. Very nice video julian
Hi Julian,
The 3 cell bank that looks like an eNB tri-bank is garbage. I purchased one because it was cheap and I couldn't find the eNB brand. The cheapy 3 cell bank will slowly discharge the batteries. With the Panasonic cells charged to 4.20v, I had 2 cells at 3.7 and 1 cell at 4.10 after one month of non-use storage. An eNB will discharge all 3 cells evenly when output charging and there is no discharge of the cells from non-use storage…Or just very sightly. From 4.20v to 4.15 in a months time.
Dear Julian, I picked up eNB 2 & 4 cells power bank recently from China and love it. You video confirm it is indeed better quality product. I have given some of them away as gift and my friend love them!
the reason they would show all four lights would be to assure you that there were no burned out lights
Very lovely review indeed.
You however didn't talk about how these power banks charge up.
I'm curious to know how they charge when plugged to AC mains and when plugged to a PC USB port.
Do they automatically detect the power source and draw only the allowed current like mobile phones do?
Hey, I really enjoyed your Reviews on different power banks! I recently bought the 3-Cell you're reviewing in this vid, but I can't get it to work. The white LED lights up when I plug in a USB cable to charge the power bank, but nothing happens when I want to charge any device with the power bank… Do I have to press the button for a specific time like 10 seconds or do something else before I can use it the first time?
Btw you can build a simple dummy current load with a potentiometer op amp a n-mosfet and a shunt
The only batteries it deserves … hehe
I was wanting him to unplug the charger to see about the voltage, good thing he did
