Review of the Soshine S7 battery charger and 3 different lithium 18650 cells bought on eBay. I'm not providing a link to the seller of the S7 charger because that purchase has dropped off my purchase history - just do a search for "Soshine S7".

WOW!! It's been that long I bought 2 of these based off the video days after you uploaded it. I have been very impressed with them no matter what cell they either charge or tell you bad cell and you move on. No wasting time whether battery is good or not. They get used several times a week at least depending on project that use the 18650's my favorite cell to use.
The negative contact would not make contact with my 18650 battery. Negative button on soshine does not protrude enough and battery wrapping spaces battery away from proper contact. I had to insert a strip of metal to provide proper contact.
What a joke! You calling these batteries cheap! Try NKON Eindhoven Netherlands and you'll see these 18650's for less than hallf the price! And they sell the real brands only!
Just a quick note. I got this charger this past weekend. Your video was excellent, thanks for sharing this information, very detailed review! I'm subscribing to you channel.
Would I be safe to assume these have overcharging protection for when 18650s are being used? Meaning, I'd be safe if I were to keep these on the charger for extended periods of time, and turn the charger on when the 18650 cell is already partially or fully charged?
Hi. Did it have any sort of timer built in?
Very good review. Also thanks for testing the batteries and sharing the result.
Just got mine today. Yes the power adapter is nasty and the 13 amp adapter is downright deadly. But for the price the charger is good although mine does not appear to have 'polarity auto detection' – if I fit a cell the wrong way round the charger simply stays in standby state. I shall bin the 13 amp adapter, having destroyed it beyond use and I find 12 volt power adapters for 50 pence or ยฃ1 at car boot sales in boxes under tables – problem solved!
Hello, what's happened with your next ICR18650, You said that you have ordered 2 more batteries ICR.. . Are they good too. I am just waiting for my ICR for 2.9$ right now and I am wondering if it will be good . ย
thank you! very useful review!!
'Frankly illegal' lol – I thought that too. It's really not that hard to find exposed 240v with the multimeter probes on one of them especially if you've got a US plug in it.
not really buying into that "over volt" theory, as I've just blew one up with 19V(or 17V) input, temperature goes beyond warm(handheld-able though), but it's such a good charger I'm buying the second one, this time to be coupled to a 12V supply
Those cells are fake as I personally think. They're too cheap according to originals prices. Anyway, thanks 4 video. Greets from Poland.
