They will be protected from UV, rain, corrosion and they will last a lot longer. Also. your new battery pack, by the window, is not well protected.

I love Thrunite's T10 with some Eneloops but can't seem to get a good example 😞 one had a bad switch, another an ill fitted o-ring but annoyingly it had the most awesome tint, another arrived in cold white GRRRR! I am NOT giving up on that cute little AA torch it is so perfect in size and weight and the redesigned rubber switch feels amazing! Have the stainless version but its just not the same! Gotta try ordering another one I LOVE THAT TORCH!!
Well now you have neutral white you're spoilt and will never be putting up with cool white/angry blue and purple low CRI torches again! They really do make a difference outdoors with lots of greens and browns which look grey under normal cool white, would rather have a neutral LED than high brightness any day 😁 Got about 5 Thrunite but need one of these, looks like it has a nice wide flood 😁😁

i don't mind the sponsorship, as long as it is clear on the video. but what i would like to see is a slighty more critical view; it can't all be good. especially the high brightness settings need some actual testing imho. some basic questions you might want to cover: how hot does it get when running on turbo for long durations (note that it is stuck on your head, so heat is an issue) and how good is the battery life on turbo mode and at what voltage does the lamp cut out at so you can buy cells that can maximize the power that a cell has.
it needs a slightly higher mode (20-50) lumen mode to be better as a headtorch or your gonna get night blinded by the light bouncing back , 11 lumen is too low and the 172 is a huge jump, but do appreciate the very nice efficient running times at the lower settings, and id improve the design by having the cell at the back of the headset, so theres less mass bouncing on your forehead as you walk
