Review and teardown of the YDD Tech 6 Volt cordless screwdriver. Interesting from a technical point of view, but ultimately pretty useless.

Thank you, this is the best review I've seen on this
The stuff on the gears is called "schmoo". 🙂 I have here a Black & Decker power screwdriver, which is quite heavy-duty compared to that unit, having a lot more metal in its construction. It uses a 3-cell nicad pack for power and I'm on the 3rd or 4th set, so far. Later units, which were a bit smaller, had only a 2-cell pack in there. Mine comes apart after removing only one pin, and unfortunately the first time I did that I was holding it the wrong way, and all of the gears fell out, and I had to put it back together… Same gear set, though all metal. I wouldn't be surprised if that design were very common. Torque: When you get to the point where you're driving a screw in and it stops, keep tapping the button. It won't run, but it will get them in just a bit further, and if what you're looking to do is get those screw heads flush, that will sometimes do the trick.
its not a drill moron
"Its quite big", that's what she said.

That has to be the cheapest electric screwdriver I've ever seen, a motor that seems to be built for R/C racing, and the only metal in there is the bit holder…
So, when the aliens arrive and are watching Earth's content to decide what we are like as a race…
Disappointed / Unsubscribing : More plastic waste into the environment and a stupid waste of a serviceable tool ( even if low quality ). Manufactured in China, shipped long distance, delivered to your door and all for nothing – you could have given it to a charity shop at the very least.
I normally love your videos but this was the first time I gave a thumbs down. I was sad for the poor tool. It was what it was and didn't deserve to die!
hey you get what you paid for, guess it be ok in a jam
you silly man -now I don't have any video input. Oh you silly man you're so entertaining. Doh!
This is not ASMR. D=
this is the first time I have to give you a dislike 🙂 this is a screwdriver, not a drill…
Think Julian, do you really want to cut stuff in half?? Looks like it's more trouble then it's worth, maybe a handy rubbage bin would work better 🙂
Why Julian why. ?😔
Should've tried it with four 14500 Li-ion cells.
Content-OK, but sound of the video TERRIBLE, especially on sawing part… there's a mute function, or some nice music theme would be appreciated greater
