Thank you for this video. I just received one of these from Amazon; the boxes came but no manual. I had no idea how to work the thing. The brand on the bulb is TexSens and looks a little bit different, but the remote is identical.

I do have use for the colors, using color therapy as an option in the work I'm doing with clients. That's why I bought the bulb, to test these out and see if I can recommend these to clients.

I bought an Auroraglow RGB household bulb a few years ago, LED technology has come a long way since.
I have mine on the bedroom landing and set it to a warm orange in winter and a cool blue in summer, it's about the only use I could find for it.
The useable light is.. Well, it's pants! It's just about good enough to use as a night light.

Maybe the dimmed-off setting is a "identify zone" setting?

I assume that you are wanting to keep this bulb or the company is wanting it back?  If you are going to tear it down; tear it down!!!  Let's see what under that heat sink please!!!

    Nice review!
I'm using the same system for lighting in my bedroom and office, both with ledstrips and ledbulbs. I didn't know Thorfire rebranded MiLight, tbh.

I suspect that the slower response in fading down is simply the supply bleeding down as opposed to quickly ramping up.
